Assuming he arrived around 8.00am next morning 15 -16 hours response, is hardly emergency response time, so shouldn't be a call out fee. No idea how much the parts would be, but labour for 3 hours should be no more than £300 including VAT.

If there is a call out fee, shouldn't be than an extra hour's labour cost.
